Video Games battle - sign ups

Welcome to icontalking's first Video Games icon battle! Since 'video games' is a vast and varied medium, I thought it would be best to base the battle on themes, rather than caps or specific games, to make sure everyone can icon their favorites.

Battle summary!

• 10 icons
• 31 days
• 1-3 themes per icon - one mandatory, the rest optional for extra challenge

Battle schedule!

• September 28th - October 4th, around 8pm CET: sign ups
• October 4th: themes
• November 4th: icons due
• November 5th: results

To sign up, please comment with your username, and 2-3 themes. The themes can be pretty much anything except screencaps or games, for example:

• technical themes
• general themes
• songs
• tropes
• textures
• something for inspiration (a few icons/graphics, photos, short videos, etc)
• fonts

When the sign ups are over, I'll use a randomizer to pick the 10 themes we'll be iconning, and any left over will be randomly assigned to each of the main themes, in case someone wants an extra challenge. If you have any questions, please post them in reply to this comment.
