Animanga Icon Battle - Introduction & Polls



Welcome to the Animanga Icon Battle at [livejournal.com profile] icontalking! To get things started, here are some basic points + a few questions for you.

- This battle will run a little differently than normal. To start with, I'm looking for some suggestions on anime & manga series you'd like to icon. This can be anything from super popular ones to very small niche ones. If you can icon it, you can suggest it.

After a few days, I will compile the list and create a set of inspiration packs/mini-battles with screencaps from that series. That pack could also include:
- Texture packs
- Fonts
- Song lyrics
- Themes or techniques

Let's say there's are mini-battles for Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, and Air Gear. Each one will have completely different inspiration packs. Anyone can sign up for as few or as many battles as they wish. You can make between 3-6 icons for every battle. Each showcase will highlight the icons from that fandom together.

This post is essentially to gauge interest in specific series and determine the packs. Feel free to second/third series that have already been suggested; that just lets me know the number of people interested! If you would like to suggest images / textures / other resources, you are also welcome to do that but not required!

The formal sign up post + pack selection will go up in the next 2-3 days. (link coming soon)
