Here at icontalking we seem to really like icon battles, so to avoid having too many going on here at once there are up to two battles going on at once, and you can see the upcoming battles below :)

The battle schedule is as follows (dates are subject to change!):

This schedule obviously only relates to battles that are hosted at this comm. If any of hosts of queued battles change your mind and decide you want to do your battle at your own comm sooner rather than waiting around here, just let me know!

(If you’re not into icon battles and don’t want battle posts cropping up on your f-list, go here, and under the ‘Tags’ section, click ‘Exclude selected tags’, and then click on the icon battle tag (all battle-related posts are tagged with this) and then save your changes at the bottom. If you want to see some of the battle posts but not all, just exclude the icon battle: (whatever the battle is) tag(s) you don’t want to see.)

Sadly this is the 3rd thing to happen with LJ for me today - firstly they've changed the mobile internet version so you can't see your friends page (old layout), only your entries feed (new layout, which I really hate), and secondly entry previews aren't working for me :/

Oh god, I'd die. I love my friends page the way it is. I don't want the feed thing to take over. So I hope that's not some sign that they're preparing it for all of us soon :/


LJ really has it out for you today.
I think the previews thing has something today with a code push they did. People have reported several bugs in the latest news thread:

It depends on how long the current and queued battles take, but by my estimation if you want to host it here it wouldn't be until July at the earliest. I can add it to the queue if you're happy with that? (If July isn't a good time for you it can easily be delayed until later).

I'd love to do an iZombie battle if that's okay. I won't actually have any time to start planning the battle until after next weekend but I'd love to run a battle again then. :)


Or a Gilmore Girls battle if anyone is interested in that as the show is coming back this year. :)
